Founded in 1948, by Robert W. Quealy, Quealy and Son Funeral Home continues to be family owned and operated. For nearly 60 years, the South Shore community has come to know and expect that a "Quealy Family member" is the mainstay of this business.

When Robert and his wife Gertrude settled in Abington, they founded the first and only funeral home in Abington. With the support of their friends and neighbors, they helped many families through difficult times, not only professionally, but personally, and with great pride. Because of this personal connection from one generation to the next, the Quealy family continues to care deeply about the people we serve. Our dedication to the community reflects in everything we do.

We continually invest, not only our hearts and souls making sure that each family feels "special", but we have graciously given back to the community, by offering the families we serve the most up to date, state of the art facility in the area and what we believe is the finest funeral service available.

Our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our progress possible.

To faithful old friends
To cherished new friends
To those whose friendship
We hope to earn...
