Gertrude Quealy passed away in Florida at the age of 88.

She along with her late husband Robert W. Quealy founded Quealy Funeral Home in 1948. She remained a licensed Funeral Director throughout her adult life and gave much to her community.

She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, especially her three children Regina (Quealy) Ladouceur and husband John of Spring Hill, FL; Kathryn (Quealy) Cowles and her late husband Herbert Cowles of Spring Hill, FL and Dennisport, MA; and William R. Quealy and his wife Christine of Abington, MA and her 5 grandchildren Lynn Quealy, Paula Quealy, Robert Quealy, Jeffrey Ladouceur and Renee Pezzi. Also her cherished great grandchildren Lauren & Erin Pezzi, Paul & Sarah Ladouceur and Grace Quealy.

She was honored here at her Funeral Home Tuesday evening, April 29th. A Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday morning April 30th at 9:00 AM at St. Bridget's Parish in Abington. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rockland.
