Chris Williams, age 51, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, after 35 days in the ICU/Trauma Unit having been hit by an OUI driver on October 10th. At his passing, he was surrounded by his wife, sons, in-laws and pastor and wife.
Chris was born in Quincy and lived all his life in Rockland, MA. He attended Rockland Public Schools and graduated from South Shore Voc-Tech in Hanover, MA. At 16, Chris began working for Southeastern Metal Fabricators in Rockland on a co-op basis, was hired by SEMF upon his graduation, and worked there for over 33 years.
Chris and his wife Michelle would have been married 20 years in April, and have two sons, Michael and Cooper. Chris is also survived by his in-laws Marge and Bill Pinnetti of Mashpee, brother in law Mike Pinnetti and his wife Jessica, also of Mashpee, as well as Chris's siblings and their families, Linda and David Lewis of NH, Donna and Jim Crowley of CA, and Bob and Joanne Williams of Rockland, MA, including several beloved nieces and nephews, Vincent and Stella Pinnetti, Kaitlin Lewis, Rick Enright, Lisa Crowley and Samantha Crowley Mansoor, and Robert, Matthew and Brian Williams. Chris was the son of Robert and Lorette Williams.
Chris enjoyed time with his family: biking, hiking, walking on the beach, and visiting Martha's Vineyard. He also enjoyed yard-work, following NASCAR, hand-crafting items out of metal and wood, and working on cars. He was a member of Teamsters 653.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 21st to celebrate his homegoing and honor Chris's life. The service will be at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Weymouth, 40 West Street, Weymouth, MA 02190.
