Frank "Pancho" Villa

Frank "Pancho" Villa of Abington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2017.

Frankie was born on March 29, 1941 in Brockton, the eldest son of the late Carlo and Bronia (Krasnosky) Villa. 

He was gifted with natural creativity either by painting a landscape, repurposing garbage or pieces of wood and making a work of art.  He was most known for being a talented baker and cake decorator.  For many years he worked in the family business, Martin's Bakery as a master baker.  Many of his friends and family members will remember his delicious Italian cookies, eclairs and of course, his amazing wedding cakes for which people traveled near and far for their special occasion. 

Frankie had a passion for gardening and took pride in his vegetable and flower gardens.  He spent special moments with his family and friends at the beach, fishing or playing water sports in Duxbury and Brant Rock. 

He leaves behind his beloved niece, Lauriane "Poochie" Veazie;  his sisters:  Carol DuMont of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Rosie Veazie of Wareham;  his brothers:  James Villa of Rockland, Carlo Villa, Jr. and Frederick Villa both of Abington.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. 

Abington will miss his kind heart and giving spirit but most of all his driving around his automated bike, reaping havoc.

Visitation on Thursday (July 13, 2017) from 3 to 6 PM in the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington.  A funeral service will follow at 6 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
