I just saw this and wanted to express my sympathies. I knew John many years when he was the Canton assessor. Over the years, I always looked forward to meeting with him, because he was a professional and a gentleman. John was a real pleasure to know, and will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of volunteering with John for several years in (what was then) the Deutsche Bank Championship. John had assembled a good team and was quick to lend a hand or provide guidance. His leadership will be missed, but his friendship will be missed even more. John always had a story and a smile to share. God bless.

I first met John when I started volunteering for the Dell Technologies Championship many years ago. I will miss standing on the 1st tee box and looking over my shoulder to see him sitting in his golf cart. As I am writing this I can hear him saying "Hi Karen". I am sorry for your loss.

Stacy and family, We are deeply sadden by the loss of the Caddie Master of the Dell Technologies Championship held at TPC Boston, Norton, MA held labor day weekend for the past 15 years. It was a John's week to spend with us and exchange many stories and wisdom during this time.
