Lois Nally

March 14, 1940 ~ March 26, 2015 (age 75) 75 Years Old

NALLY, Lois (Woodsome) passed away on March 26, 2015 after a long battle with cancer and diabetes.  She was born in Boston, raised and educated in N. Quincy and lived in Boston and Abington respectively.

She was the loving wife of her late, beloved husband, John, and is survived by his two sons, Kevin and his wife Kris of Scituate, Jim and his wife Beth of Kingston and 4 grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

She was forever a sports fan knowing all the stats on players from the ‘50s forward.  She was a member of The BoSox Club and she and her husband, John, regularly attended spring training in FL.  They wintered in Naples, FL and enjoyed a lovely vacation home in NH.  She also was a member of Meals on Wheels and never missed an opportunity to care for stray animals, a number of which she adopted over the years.  Lois was a One-To-One counselor with Dana Farber lending a compassionate ear and advising newly diagnosed cancer patients.  She coordinated driving schedules as a volunteer with the Road to Recovery program of the American Cancer Assoc.

She thoroughly enjoyed putting together details for her NQHS high school reunions, especially the 50th.  She always considered herself blessed to have so many caring friends who became part of her family.
