Muriel Ruth Thayer of Abington, Dec. 6, age 85, Loving wife of the late Robert Thayer; Loving mother of Virginia L. May of Hanover, Donna L. Short of Abington, and Jean Grenham of Everett;  Loving sister of Phyllis Funder of Abington; Also, survived by many grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Monday December 11 from 10am to 11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington
