arthur o'leary
he was one of the last from the greatest generation
he was a survivor. he survived WWII
he survived the death of 3 wives
he survived the death of a child
and yet he pushed on
i may of only known him for the last 32 years but to me he was a legend
when he shook your hand you new the deal was done
when he spoke of something he did it with full conviction
when he believed in something you didnt argue because you couldnt win
where have the true men of honesty, integrity and meaning gone
we lost one of the greatest a true mans man.
he was my father in law but also my friend and i will always miss you.

I don't believe I ever met Arthur but he sure left a legacy in the form of the restaurant. I go there almost every Sunday night and enjoy not only the food, but the atmosphere. He surly had a hand in this!
My prayers to his family and many, many friends who knew him.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I have many fond memories of being at the your home in abington. I only lived a few houses away but it seemed like I was there more than I was at my own home. Your dad always greeted me with a smile and always made me feel welcome. I also lost my dad a few years ago and this is a difficult time right now for all your family members. Always remember the good times you shared and it will help all of you get through the difficult days ahead.

"Uncle Arthur" to me.
"Brother" to my Mother.
"Only-Son" our Grandmother and Grandfather whom endured everything for their children.
Hero to a grateful Nation.
Hero to me too.
I don't pass this title out often. "You were a Great Man of courage and honor. You were a most respectable man!"
