Byron "Barney" Lennon Obituary

July 8, 2019: Byron “Barney” Lennon Age 88 of Framingham, Ma passed In the comfort of his home, in the care of his beloved wife of 67 years, Martha (Johnston) of Framingham MA, surrounded by loved ones, and serenaded by the quiet music played by his grandson, Shane. Brother of the late Edna (Lennon) Watson of New Brunswick, Canada; Wilfred Lennon of New Brunswick, Canada; Wendell Lennon of New Brunswick, Canada; and twin brother Bernard Lennon of New Brunswick, Canada.Devoted father to Guy Lennon of Paige, Tx; the late Dale Lennon of Zephyrhills, FL; Ray Lennon of Framingham, MA and Terry Lennon of Framingham, MA. Beloved Grampy of Roxanne, Robert, Jack, Shane, Heather, and Amanda; Loving great-grandfather of Larry, Thomas, and James; Beloved Uncle, and great-uncle to many. Byron was born and raised in New Brunswick Canada before moving his family to the US in 1963, where he worked for North Eastern Crane as an equipment operator for 30+ years. Upon migrating to the US, Byron raised his family on Framingham’s Arthur St for many years, an area in which he is remembered for his successful Christmas tree stand where he worked closely with family of all ages and spent some of his happiest days. A devoted family man, and a true example of the American Dream, Byron enjoyed traveling and took much pride in lending a hand to family member’s projects as well as sharing the bounty from his wonderful garden; which he tended well into his final years. A special thanks to Roy and Frances Johnston as well as Candy and Steve Wheeler of Easton, MA for their continued care and support during this difficult time.

A Memorial service will be held on August the 17th , 2pm at his residence of 241 Temple Street in Framingham Ma.. In Lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Byron’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
