After Jackie and Jerry moved from Abington and I did as well, we have not seen each other in years but I was sad to hear of her passing. I spent many evenings chatting in the kitchen on Spruce Street. She was a great help to me when I started the Easter Seal Adult Club that we held at the Abington VFW. She transported handicapped people from their home to the VFW. Everyone enjoyed her quick wit and laughter. She made their evening fun. She will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of Jackie's death. I will always remember her and the many laughs we had at Ruth's house and all around Abington! She and Gerry did have a wonderful time together. How can anyone picture her without her smile and her Diet Pepsi in her pocket? I hope that heaven has restocked it for her! Love you Jackie-rest in eternal peace.

Those of us in Florida who had the privilege of knowing both Jackie and Gerry, will always remember our very happy and silly times. To me, she was a wonderful friend and quite the inspiration in dealing with her issues. Her love for her children and her grandchildren was unwavering. Please know that I am sending all of you my thoughts and prayers at this time. I also know that she is with all of us still, probably making a joke, and surely watching over her beloved family.

My very favorite neighbor. Thank for all the laughter, kindness and friendship for so many years, wished we could’ve had dozens more. You will be dearly missed Lola Lipshitz! Your unique laugh will reverberate on this pond for the rest of my days. Our sympathy to Mindy and Jim and family. What a great lady. One of the best. Barb
