John Driscoll Jr. Obituary

John Daniel Driscoll age 79, of Plymouth originally from Dorchester, passed away March 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Roxbury Ma. He graduated from Boston Trade High School. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a United States Marine. He worked as a machinist for General Dynamics. He later attended Wentworth College for the study of physical metallurgy while working for Industrial Heat Treating. After which he worked for Teradyne. Upon retiring he moved to Ossipee NH. Where he loved gardening. Making doll houses & models in his spare time. He found great enjoyment in helping others. He especially cherished spending time with his family. He was the Beloved husband of Carole A. Driscoll (Hewitt), Father of John A. Driscoll and his wife Donna of Woodbridge Va., Deborah Driscoll & Kelvin Phillips of Weymouth, Stephen Driscoll and his wife Andrea of Plymouth, Richard J. Driscoll of Whitman and Daniel Driscoll of Whitman. Grandfather of Karen, Sara, John Arthur Jr. Joshua, Jessica, Stephen, Anthony, Rhianna, Aidan, Colleen, Richard, Nicole, Jennifer and Meaghan. Great-grandfather of Benjamin, Mathew, Aurora, Evelyn and Marnie. Visiting hours at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams St., Abington Ma. Friday March 23, 2018, 4 - 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at a later date.
