Capostagno, Linda (Everett)- Linda (Everett) Capostagno, age 59 on Oct. 14, 2018. Linda passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long illness.  Linda was the beloved daughter of Marion Desmond of Brockton, MA and the late William Everett of Abington, MA. Linda was the much loved Mother of Candice Capostagno of Weymouth, MA, and Frank Capostagno & his wife Jamie of Braintree, MA and the adored “Nunnie” to her granddaughters Ariana Butler and Alexandra Butler and Baby Capostagno due to arrive this coming spring. Linda is survived by her sisters Marilyn Everett Perry of Plymouth, MA and Lisa Everett Harris of Bedford, NH and a brother Billy Newell of Hopkinton, MA.  She was predeceased by brothers and sisters:  Laurie Everett, Dennis Fernando, Debbie Fernando, and Stephen Fernando. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.

 

 Linda grew up in Abington and was a 1977 graduate of Abington High School. She was an avid animal lover all of her life and took great joy in loving and caring for her beloved cats Paris, Scottie, Grey (muffin) and Oliver. Linda loved music and loved to dance, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as vacationing with them.  She enjoyed living an active lifestyle. Linda was always willing to help anyone in need and could always be counted on no matter what.

 

 Linda was employed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 22 years as an Executive Assistant with 14 of those years working for Dr. Allen Smith.  Allen was not only her boss but also became a very dear friend to her and her family.   

 

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Oct. 19, 2018 at 9 am in St. Bridget’s Church (455 Plymouth St) in Abington, MA.  Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery (125 Central St.) in Rockland, MA.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate Linda’s life on Thursday Oct. 18 at Quealy and Son Funeral Home (116 Adams St.), Abington, MA from 4 to 8pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Southeastern Massachusetts’ Community Animal Shelter, 1300 West Elm Extension, Brockton, MA.
