Mary Buchawski Obituary

Mary F. (Gliniewicz) Buchawski of Abington died peacefully on December 29, 2018 following a period of declining health.  She was 93. 

She was born on August 22, 1925 in Abington, attended local schools and remained a lifelong resident.  Mrs. Buchawski was active locally and was a member of Saint Bridget Parish and the VFW Auxillary. 

Beloved wife of the late Stanley P. Buchawski.  Devoted mother of Mary Ahern and her husband, John of Hanover, Peter E. Buchawski and his companion, Darlene Hoxie of West Bridgewater and Thomas W. Buchawski of Kingston.  Adored grandmother of Kristen DeLosh of Weymouth, Kerri Ahern of South Boston, Daniel Ahern of Manhattan, NY, Michael Ahern of South Boston and Jennifer Jones of Abington.  Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Wednesday January 2 from 4 to 7pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday January 3 at 11am. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 Myles Standish Boulevard, Suite 103, Taunton, MA 02780.
