Jen - I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, but worked alongside Rob at BearingPoint for many years. He was a pleasure to work with - he had a way of tackling difficult situations with humor and I was fortunate to find a kindred spirit who loved all things Disney, which can be hard to find in the workplace! I am so sorry for your loss and will treasure my memories of Rob always.

Simply put, I am broken by this news. Rob's personal vitality but cool composure during busy times of stress always amazed me. To the family and to all who loved and admired him, my deepest hope we find strength to move onward with the same light that Rob shined wherever he went.

Like for so many, the news of Rob's passing hit me like a thunderclap. I worked with Rob briefly back at the State House for Sen. Hicks and he was a fast friend. While we hadn't crossed paths often enough since, whenever we did he was the same wonderful, friendly, engaging Rob. A truly good man. My thoughts and prayers are with Jennifer, Casey and Robert and all of Rob's family during this very difficult time. I pray that you will find some comfort in the knowledge that those who knew him will never forget him for the wonderful man he was.

I briefly worked under Rob's command at DUA prior to moving on to another state agency. In that short time, I found him to be charismatic, passionate about his mandate, and very approachable. These are qualities you don't often see combined in just one person. Undoubtedly, he will be missed by many people. My condolensces to his family and friends.
