William A. Kendall

William A. Kendall of Abington, May 24, 2019, age 84, Loving son of the late Herbert  and Dorothy Kendall;  Loving father of Jon Kendall of NV and Beth Canavan and husband James of NY;  Beloved grandfather of Timothy, Jillian, and Sophie. Beloved great grandfather of Emma; Loving brother of the late Gene Kendall; Also, survived by cousins Francis Scott of Walpole, and David and Ramona Mansfield of Hanson.

Bill was born in Quincy, raised his children with wife, Connie in Reading, and retired in Abington. Bill served in the United States Army. He worked at John Hancock Life Insurance in Sandwich, but Bill spent most of his career as a banker in Wakefield MA, Boston, Reading, and then Weymouth.  He also enjoyed teaching evening courses for SBLI. Bill was actively involved with the Abington Senior Center and Council on Aging. He loved assisting community members by driving them to appointments in and around the Boston area. He loved to read and was an avid Boston sports fan.

Donations can be made in Memory of Bill to the Abington council on Aging.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Sunday June 2 from 1pm to 4pm, followed by a funeral service at 4pm. Interment will be private.
