Alfred W. Urbaschak, 99, of Brockton, passed away of natural causes in his home on June 30, 2025. He was born in Boston, one of eight children to his father Rudolph, and mother Nellie. Alfred was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
Extremely skilled with his hands, he served in the Navy as an aviation mechanic, and then returned home to Massachusetts to work as a truck and trolley driver. He was an honorable man who had a passion for helping people. He was also a humble man who cared for others immensely. Above all, Alfred loved his child and grandchildren, and would express his love in various ways, big or small.
Alfred was the cherished son of Rudolph Urbaschak and Nellie Urbaschak; beloved father of Alfred Urbaschak Jr., and a dear grandfather of Michael and Hollie Urbaschak.
A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, on Tuesday, July 8th, from 4 PM to 6 PM. A graveside service will take place Mt. Vernon Cemetery on Wednesday, July 9th, at 12 PM, with United States Navy Honors.
