Betty B. (Nickerson) Packard lifelong resident of Rockland, died January 19, 2014, age 86. Loving mother of Jan (Nickerson) O'Connor and husband Jack of Rockland and Deborah (Gardner) Vecchione; Loving grandmother of Vinny Vecchione, Irene Kelleher, Heather O'Connor, and Sean O'Connor all of Rockland. Loving great grandmother of Charlie and Cailey Kelleher. Betty retired from New England Telephone and also worked in the town of Rockland as a Register, and on the Town Republican Comm. She was involved with the Camp Fire Girls and was a member of the Rockland Son's of Italy and the Abington VFW Auxiliary. A memorial Service will be held at the Rockland Eagles Hall, 29 Park Street, Rockland, Saturday April 19 at 11am.
