Beverly Hall, of Bridgewater, formerly Abington passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 3, 2026. She was beloved wife of the late Edmund R. Hall, was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her independent spirit, determination, and love of family.
Born in Athol, Massachusetts, Beverly was raised in Braintree. She attended Sacred Heart in Weymouth and graduated from Braintree High School.
Beverly met her husband, Edmund, at Paragon Park. They began dating and married shortly afterward, settling in Abington, where they raised their five children and built their life together.
Beverly was the loving mother of Kathleen Sulmonte and her husband, Anthony, of Abington; Karen Hall of Rockland; the late Kevin E. Hall, formerly of Barnstable, whose wife, Janet Hall, survives him; Bridget Sprague and her husband, Jim, of Sandwich; and Stephen V. Hall of Abington.
She was the proud grandmother of Melissa Henry, Marc Sulmonte, Matthew Sulmonte, Andrew Hanson, Brenden Hall, Caitlin Burleson, Colleen Graham, Zachary Sprague, and Sarah Sprague, and great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. She took great pride in her family and enjoyed watching each generation grow.
Beverly worked as a bookkeeper at St. Joseph Manor and Halifax Country Club.
Beverly was a woman of strong convictions and an independent spirit. She knew what she liked, had her own way of doing things, and wasn’t easily persuaded otherwise. Those who knew and loved her appreciated her determination, her sense of humor, and the unmistakable personality that made Beverly who she was.
That same determination was evident in her involvement in the Abington community. Beverly helped establish the town’s girls’ Park and Recreation basketball program, creating opportunities for young girls to participate in organized sports.
She enjoyed golf, bocce, and bingo. She particularly loved calling bingo on Friday nights at High Pond Estates, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbors. Beverly appreciated a little friendly competition, good company, and the opportunity to do things her own way.
Above all, Beverly loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a source of tremendous pride and happiness throughout her life.
Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edmund R. Hall; her son, Kevin E. Hall; and her brothers, James and Norman Boucher.
Beverly lived life with a mind of her own, a love for her family, and a determination that those who knew her will never forget.
