Obituary

Brendan Joseph Ferris, 40, Rockland, MA, died Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Brendan was born in Weymouth, MA on July 17, 1985, a son of the late Bonnie F. (Boothby) Ferris and Brian Beaton. He grew up in Abington and attended local schools. Brendan worked in landscaping for many years. Brendan and the Boothby family have been greatly impacted by the effects of Huntington's disease. We are grateful that he will not suffer.

Brendan is survived by his father, Brian and his step-mother Jil, a sister Sarah, a brother James Beaton and his family, his grandmother, Betty Beaton, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including his best friend, Derek. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie, his young daughter, Zoe, whom he cherished as well as many of his Boothby relatives including his dear grandmother who raised him.

Many thanks to Amelia and the team at Tufts Medical Center for keeping Brendan comfortable in his final hours. We also thank Derek for being at Brendan's side following his accident.
