Brenden
Therrien
January 19, 2000 – October 16, 2025
Brenden M. Therrien, 25, of Abington, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2025, in Weymouth, MA. Born at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Brenden grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished his vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication.
He was the beloved son of Michael and Bobbi Therrien and a devoted brother to Brady and Bryce Therrien. Brenden also leaves behind his loving grandparents Barbara Boerboon and Stephen Saarela, as well as Frank and Debra Boerboon. His family was his foundation, and he was a constant source of strength and support to them. Brenden graduated from high school in Bullet County, Mount Washington, Kentucky, and went on to build a successful career as a licensed electrician. He got his start with Gene Ray Electric in Kentucky and then for the past six years, he worked with Platinum Electric and also owned and operated his own business under the name Therrien Electrical Services. His passion for his craft and relentless work ethic earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike…who also may have known him as "Biscuit." His kindness extended to his profession—Brenden often completed quick fixes for customers free of charge, just to make their day easier. This simple act of generosity reflected his belief that true success comes from helping others, not just earning a paycheck.
Outside of work, Brenden embraced life fully. He loved fishing, riding dirt bikes, playing basketball, gaming; especially spending time with his brother Bryce playing Fortnite. A true patriot, Brenden proudly flew the U.S. flag on his truck and embodied the values of hard work and integrity. He had a deep appreciation for country music, enjoyed attending concerts, and had a special fondness for diesel pickup trucks. Known for his humor and big heart, Brenden was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
Brenden's ability to tackle any challenge, his perfectionism, and his fearless approach to learning made him a remarkable individual. His family could always count on him, and his presence brought joy and reassurance to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Brenden's life reflects the essence of resilience, independence, and community spirit. His story is a reminder of the value of skilled trades and the pride that comes from building something tangible with your own hands. In an era where many chase convenience, Brenden embraced hard work and craftsmanship, embodying the phrase "Blue Collar Worker" with honor. His patriotism and loyalty to family and friends highlight the importance of staying grounded in values that matter most—service, love, and authenticity.
A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington on Thursday October 23, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
