Carol Josephine Johnson (Biskopsky), of Rockland, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in Jamaica Plain on November 29, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Edith Dorothy Anderson and Joseph Carol Biskopsky. She was raised in Rockland and graduated from Rockland High School with the Class of 1960. Carol continued her education at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and went on to work there as a nurse. She later worked as a clerk at Luke's Liquors.
Carol enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved reading and working on crossword puzzles, enjoyed going out to eat with friends, and always appreciated a good snack. Above all, Carol cherished the time spent with her family and those closest to her.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Johnson, and her daughter, Holly Johnson.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly, and son-in-law, Scott MacDonald; her cherished grandchildren, Brian, Drew, and Tyler; her brothers, Robert Wing and his wife, Rita, and Richard Wing and his wife, Joanne; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
