Casey Blake McArthur was unexpectedly called home to the Lord on June 12, 2023. Casey Blake was born on November 16, 2001. Raised in Rockland with her mom, stepfather, siblings and grandparents. Casey loved spending time with her family. She loved family gatherings, cookouts, or cheering on the backyard basketball games. Casey always had a passion for music from a young age, no matter where she was she had music playing. Casey competed state wide in gymnastics when she was younger, and was very successful taking home medals at every competition. Casey also had a strong passion for cosmetology and had dreams of opening her own salon doing hair and nails. Casey had an infectious personality covered by a hard exterior, this soft part of Casey was seen especially when it came to working with children. When Casey loved, she loved with everything in her. Casey attended Glad Tidings Church in Quincy followed by Faith Chapel in Bridgewater. She would love Sundays and seeing her church family and be social with the children and adults. Casey attended Rockland Public Schools, and briefly attended East Bridgewater High School. Casey's greatest gift to us is her daughter Savannah Danielle who she cherished with all her heart.
Casey is the beloved daughter of Sherri Ann Stuart and the late William Stuart of Whitman.(Formally of Rockland); Loving mother to Savannah Danielle McArthur of Rockland; Beloved sister to Courtney Ann (Sullivan) Mogan of N Dartmouth, Caitlin Erin McArthur of Stoughton, Connor and William Stuart of Whitman; Beloved granddaughter to Joanne and Donald McIntyre of Rockland; Beloved niece to Steven and Dawn McIntyre of Cumberland RI, Donna McIntyre-Roy and Christopher Roy of Litchfield NH, Michelle McArthur of Quincy and Stacey and Jason Goodwin of East Bridgewater; Beloved aunt to James Mogan of N. Dartmouth. Casey is predeceased by her father Kenneth McArthur of Weymouth. Also, survived by his parents Carol and Dennis McArthur of Weymouth; Casey leaves behind many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and extended family.
Casey will be missed by many who love her but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend Calling hours on Thursday June 22 at Quealy and Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington from 4-7pm with a service to follow at 7. In place of Flowers donations can be sent to Quincy Credit Union in the name of Savannah.
