Charles Fitts of Hanson, age 51, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 9, 2024. Charles leaves behind his mother Judi Crum of Ohio, and a sister, Michelle S. Burns of East Bridgewater. Charles was the loving uncle of Tyller G. Burns of Whitman, Dyllan W. Burns of Abington, and Johnus Derby of California. Charles also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Charles attended and completed a certificate program from RETS Electronic School. Charles had the privilege of being a jack of all trades, who happened to have knowledge on many things. He was always willing to give a helping hand to his nephew, Tyller, when it came to automotive work.

Charles fought a tough battle with lung cancer for about a year. Knowing Charles, he did not let lung cancer stop him from doing anything. Charles was a very unique individual who would give the shirt off of his own back to anyone in need. Charles always made the most of his life, whether it was going for a ride in his truck or even landscaping on a muggy 90 degree summer day, all while having a smile on his face. Charles was very hard working, compassionate, and kind. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, Tuesday January 16 from 4pm to 6pm.
