Charles D. MacDonald of Bridgewater, formerly of Rockland, passed away on March 7, 2017.  He was 76.

He was the beloved son of the late Archibald and Ruth MacDonald.  Charlie is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Claire and Bob Nicholson, Joan and Jerry Grillo, Ruth Hopkins and her late husband Paul, Pauline Long and her husband Bill Horner, Bob and Joyce MacDonald, and Barbara and Bill Wolfreys.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charles is a former employee of K-Mart and Stop & Shop.  He was an avid Red Sox fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a very social people person.  Charlie will be missed by the staff and clients of Matre Dei and TILL.

Visiting hours in the Quealy and Son Funeral Home at 116 Adams St., Abington will be Sunday, March 12 from 3-6 pm.  Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton on Monday at 10:30am.
