Charles
Riccio
April 1, 1957 – February 8, 2026
Charles E. Riccio, age 68, of East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at his home on February 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 1, 1957, in Everett, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Catherine and Gerard Riccio.
Charlie was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Class of 1975. He was a proud business owner who worked as a general contractor and carpenter for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he built more than homes and projects- but a legacy of hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship. A devoted husband and family man, Charlie cherished time spent with his loved ones and took great pride in teaching his sons the values and skills that guided his life.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, camping, gardening, rides on the motorcycle, and working on classic cars. Charlie had a true passion for woodworking and was always willing to lend a hand with home projects outside of work. He treasured weekends at Northwood Lake in New Hampshire and family trips to the Caribbean. Despite a long history of health challenges, Charlie lived life to the fullest. He was a light in every room, always ready with a story, a conversation, and a great laugh.
Charlie was the beloved husband of nearly 43 years to Maribeth (Olson) Riccio. He was the loving father of Gregory Riccio and his wife Lauren of Bridgewater, and Douglas Riccio and his wife Crystal of Carver. He was the proud Papa of three grandchildren: Blake, Burke, and Russell.
He is also survived by his siblings, Gerald Riccio and his wife Barbara of Halifax; Stephen Riccio and his wife Rosemarie of Quincy; Lisa Cordisco and her husband Dave of Florida; and Kathleen O'Brien and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater, along with his mother-in-law Nancy Olson and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, on Thursday, February 12, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral home service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 13, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery in Halifax, MA.
