Abington – Charles Zakrzewski of Abington passed away on July 25, 2015, after a long illness at the age of 70.

Son of the late Virginia and Frank Zakrzewski, he was the brother of Frank Zakrzewski of Abington; John Zakrzewski and his wife Ellen of Weymouth; Paul Zakrzewski and his wife Suzanne of Abington; and Allan Zakrzewski and his wife Elaine of Hudson.  He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Charles graduated from Abington High School in 1965.

For many years he was involved in the operation of the family business, Bushes Market, staying in this line of work most of his life, retiring from Stop & Shop in 2013.

He was a life long resident of Abington, was a member of the Abington Polish Club and enjoyed both fresh and salt water fishing.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Friday July 31 at 9:30am, followed by a funeral in St. Bridget Church, Abington 10:30am. Visitation Thursday 5 to 8pm. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
