Born in Weymouth, February 18, 1953, he lived in Brockton and Whitman before moving to Abington in 1980.

A loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother , he received immense pleasure from spending time with family, enjoyed many outside activities and was a avid Patriot's and Red Sox fan. Daniel was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton, class of 1971 and was employed by Shaw's Supermarket until retirement.

Daniel was the loving son of Muriel C Bailey and the late Paul L Bailey. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Abington, 3 children, Katelyn Bowman and husband Michael of Cheshire CT, Jaclyn Miller and husband Roger of Abington and Ashley Bailey of Whitman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Michael, Molly, James, Emily and Anna of Cheshire, Abigail and Isabelle of Abington and Bradley of Whitman; brother's Paul Bailey of New Hampshire, John Bailey of Abington , sister Kathy Ewing of Stoughton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Quealy and Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington, Tuesday January 13 at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Bridget's Church, Abington, 9 a.m. Visitation Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rockland.
