David W. Maxwell of Abington, passed on April 15, 2021 after a long illness, age 77. David was raised in Braintree and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth and New England Art and Design in Boston.

David was the loving father of Stephanie L. Maxwell, Michael D. Maxwell and wife Jacquelyn, and Dana R. Maxwell and wife Stephanie. Beloved grandfather of Craig J. Connell, Ryan Maxwell, Jordan Maxwell and wife Nicole, Avery Maxwell, Hunter Maxwell, Kingston Maxwell, and Lila Maxwell; Loving great grandfather of Leo; Also, survived by former wife Doris E. Maxwell and many nieces and nephews.

David had a very good sense of humor, singing voice, and was a good artist. He drew cartoon characters for the kids and he could copy the cartoon characters voices. David loved drawing animals. He was a great pool player and enjoyed fishing, bowling and dancing.

Arrangement by the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, Abington. There will be a private funeral service, followed by a private burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland.
