David M. Wood, devoted husband to Lori Kehoe Wood and beloved father of James. Born in England, David leaves his parents Malcom and Lilian Wood, brother Tim (Lyn) sisters Angie (Martin) and Lorraine (Tony), niece Megan and nephews Adam, Liam, Sean, Ashley and Aidan in the UK. He also leaves sister-in-law Janine Kehoe Mills and husband Richard of Surrey, UK. David was predeceased by his in-laws, Arolina and Ulysse Kehoe.

A 1984 graduate of the University of Sheffield (UK) with a BA in Economics and Accounting, David began his career in the UK at the BBC, followed by Merrill Lynch and Nomura. When he relocated to the Boston, Massachusetts, David was employed by Thomson Financial, the Exeter Group and, since 2006, at MathWorks (Natick).

David had a lifelong passion for literature, history and all things English. He enjoyed supporting his regional UK football club, West Bromich Albion, planning travel, and - most of all – time with his family.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington, Sunday September 18 from 3 to 6pm.
