Debra Jane "Debbie" Kerr, 67, of Abington and Marshfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on April 1, 2026, at South Shore Hospital.

Born and raised in Brockton on March 8, 1959, Debbie was the daughter of the late Charles and Priscilla (Nelson). She graduated from Brockton schools and went on to spend many years working in the customer service industry, where her kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Debbie was the beloved sister of David and Chuck Nelson, and the late Lenny and Steven Nelson, and Kerri Sabella. She cherished time spent with her family above all else.

She is survived by her devoted son, Alan Kerr Jr., and his wife, Jaime Nugent. Debbie was the proud and loving grandmother of Cristian Kerr, who was truly her world.

She is also survived by her loving nieces, Tayler and Britni Sabella, and Alex Nelson; her nephews, Matt and Jimmy Nelson; and was predeceased by her nephew, Jay Meada. Debbie was the cherished "Great Auntie Doozle" to Owen Routhier.

Debbie will be remembered as one of the most caring, giving, and loyal women you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. Her laughter filled every room she entered, and her presence brought warmth to all around her.

She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington on Monday April 20th from 5 PM to 7 PM. A funeral home service will be held at 7 PM.
