Derek Howarth of Brockton, February 17, age 86, loving husband of Olga Howarth of Brockton; Loving father of Derek Edward Howarth of Norton, Lydia Bastable of Rockland, Miranda Bean of TN, and Martin Wheeler of CT; Loving grandfather of Vanessa Saccone, Brenden and Ethan Howarth. Derek was born in England and fought for the Royal Navy in WWII. He was a devoted father and family man. A visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Friday February 24 from 5 to 8pm. A Funeral Service and interment at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton will be private.
