Derrick Kelly was bravely born into this world on January 18th, 1987.  On July 8th the world lost an amazing person in Derrick.  Ever since he was a kid, Derrick was quick with a joke, lived life to the fullest, and would do anything for the people he loved without having to be asked.  He was a loving son, grandson, uncle, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. Derrick had a kind word and a funny joke for everyone who he met, he loved fiercely with his whole heart and everyone he knew is better for knowing him.  He will be missed more than words can say.  He was the loving grandson of grandparents Ted and Margaret Malloy of Abington, the loving son of Patrick Sr and Laura Kelly of Abington, he was a loyal brother to Amanda Kelly and  Patrick Kelly and a hero to his nephews Cameron and Anthony and his niece Sadie.  He is also survived by his loving rescue dog Ollie.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 14 at 9am in St. Bridget Church, Abington.
