Dolores J. Hines Hall of Whitman, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 28, at South Shore Hospital.

Born on June 25, 1956, Dolores was the daughter of Arthur and Cathrine Hines and the second of five daughters in the Hines family. She was a proud graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School, Class of 1972.

A lifelong Whitman resident, Dolores was known in the community as a caring crossing guard for Whitman Middle School and through her work at Little Comfort General Store.

Above all, Dolores cherished her family. She will be deeply missed by her beloved daughter, Julia, and her adored grandson, Jeffrey S. Warmington, with whom she shared countless special moments. She is also survived by her loving mother, Cathrine, her sisters Paula, Mary-Ann, and Elaine, her niece Katie, and her nephews Sean and Jordan.

Dolores will be remembered for her kind spirit, love of family, and warm presence that touched all who knew her.
