Donald G. Clarkson passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Dorchester, then residing in Brockton and later Abington Donald was the devoted husband to Rhonda McIntosh and the father to Diane and Brian Schenck. Donald was beloved son to the late Harold and  Dorothy Clarkson. Was survived by his siblings Marjorie Jordan, Ruth Keenan and Laura Cleary. He was predeceased by Harold Clarkson, Roberta Kolz, William Clarkson and Robert Clarkson. Donald was the proud and caring Papa to Nichole, Kassidy and Kailey treasured godfather to Lawrence Cleary and loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a Vietnam Unites States Army Veteran, serving as an MP while stationed in Germany.

A graduate of Charlestown High School, he was skilled electrician who was always willing to give of his time and unwavering kindness and generosity.

Donald's greatest pleasure was reminiscing about family and friends and also the joys of music. He enjoyed powerful voices of operatic tenors, which brought him comfort and happiness.

Donald will be lovingly remembered for his warm spirit, deep love and kindness for family and friends. His memory will always be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington on Monday December 15, from 1PM to 2 PM followed by a funeral home service at 2 PM.
