Donald F. Murphy of Randolph, MA, passed away on February 4, age 85. He is survived by his daughter Donna J. Murphy of Marshfield, his three sons, Brian Murphy of Randolph, Stephen Murphy of Stoughton, and Christopher Murphy of Brockton, 2 grandaughters' Angela Cirone and Jacqueline Cirone both of Marshfield, 2 nieces Andrea Dazzi of Boulder, CO and Cynthia Dazzi of Kalaheo, HI. Donald grew up in West Roxbury and served on the USS Beale, a destroyer escort, during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged from the U. S. Navy, Donald went into business with his father. He was an avid sailor, pilot, skier and artist. He had a great passion for adventure and loved the sea beyond all things. He will be missed dearly. His funeral mass will be held Saturday February 14 at 10am in St. Bernadette's Church, 1031 North Main St., Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: the National Parkinson's Foundation or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
