Dorothy J. (McKenzie) Parsons, 90, a Hanover resident for 50 years, formerly of Hingham, died on October 8, 2016.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Parsons worked for F. W. Woolworth Co. for 20 years and West Pine of Hanover.  She was a great dancer, enjoyed traveling, a good book and loved bingo.  She will be missed by all.

Loving wife of the late Ralph L. Parsons to whom she was married for 50 years.  Devoted mother of Dana R. Parsons and his wife, Mary of Rockland, Gary Parsons and his wife, Patricia of East Falmouth.  Sister of Richard McKenzie of Hanover.  Grandmother of Shaun Parsons and his wife, Michelle, Shelby Ricciardi and her husband, Russell, Kevin Parsons and his wife, Melissa, Laura Dooley and her husband, Marc and Annie Parsons.  Great-grandmother of Ryker Ricciardi, Sabrina, Simone and Ava Parsons.

Visitation on Thursday, 3-7 PM in the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home.

Interment Hanover Center Cemetery.
