It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Dalma, who left us on March 13, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife, two children, and dear friends in his final moments.

Douglas was an incredible person—an amazing father, a devoted husband, and a true friend to all who knew him. With a heart full of kindness and a spirit that radiated joy, he had a gift for making people smile. He never complained, always found the bright side of any situation, and was known for his endless jokes and infectious laughter.

For 17 years, Douglas worked as a carpenter, where he was not only a skilled craftsman but also a supportive coworker and a great friend. His dedication, positivity, and unwavering work ethic left a lasting impact on those around him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his warmth, laughter, and love will remain in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home on March 21 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery Rockland.
