Obituary

Edmund J. Orlosky of Abington, May 19, age 90, Loving husband of Albina (Marges) Orlosky of Abington; Loving father of June Orlosky Jasinskas of NH and the late Frank Jasinskas, and Claire Orlosky Wing of Abington and the late Richard Wing; Loving grandfather of Gregory Jasinskas and wife Maria, Nicole Jasinskas Mori and husband Brandt, Keri Wing and David Wing; Loving uncle to Bruce, Barbara, and Brenda. Edmund graduated from Abington High School class of 1939, where he played football and later played for the Abington Old Town Football League. He was an Army WW II veteran; he landed on Omaha Beach as a member of the 187th Field Artillery Battalion. Edmund was a letter carrier for the North Abington Post Office for over 25 years and was a member of the Board of Directors at the North Abington Cooperative Bank for 40 years. He was a member of the Abington Polish Club, Abington VFW post 5737 and American Legion post 112, and enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, yard work, and watching the Boston Bruins and Red Sox. Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday May 26 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 8pm. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland.
