Edmund T. "Ebby" Sparks of Abington originally from Dorchester passed February 7, 2014 surrounded by his family after a long illness. Loving husband of Sue Ann DiTullio- Sparks of Abington; Loving father of Kevin Sparks of Abington; Loving son of the late Averill & Winifred Sparks, Loving brother of Tish Alleva and husband Jay, twin sister Ellen Kulp and Russell, Kelly Gaffey and husband Michael, and Stacey Preble and husband Scott; Loving son-in-law of Nellio and Shirley DiTullio; Numerous nieces and nephews. Edmund was the owner of Sparks Electric in Abington for over 25 years. He served in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Saratoga. Nothing made Ebby happier than being with his family and friends and he was well known for his summer BBQ and his infectious smile. He enjoyed spending time with his loving dog Casey.  He faced his illness with courage and dignity as he faced everything in life. He will be greatly missed by everyone. A Funeral  Service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Monday February 10 at 10:30am. Visitation Sunday 3 to 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Edmund to: National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
