Eleanor L. (O'Brien) Wolowicz, age 83, of Abington, passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Somerville she was the daughter of the late Eleanor L. O'Brien and John T. O'Brien. Eleanor was a graduate of Julie Billiart Central High School in Boston.

Eleanor dedicated much of her life to helping others, working for Abington Elderly Services and in several other caregiving roles throughout the years. She was an amazing and strong woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family was at the center of Eleanor's life. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and friends, especially her summer weekends in Maine, where she created lasting memories with her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Known for her wit, compassion, and warm heart, Eleanor leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and devotion.

Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband, George S. Wolowicz, with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage.

She is survived by her children: Sean Connor and his wife Libby of Abington, Brenda Sieben of Whitman, and Karen Perkins and her husband Colman of Hanson. She is also survived by her siblings: John O'Brien and his late wife Elva, and Thomas O'Brien and his wife Charleen; as well as her stepdaughters Diane Mulvey and Victoria Kinnett.

Eleanor was the loving grandmother of Emma, Rachel, Elizabeth, Kristen, Nick, Shannon, Christopher, Donald, and Nicole; and is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. She adored her "grandpups" Tommy Bear, Luca, and Oscar.

A Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street on Wednesday November 19, from 4 PM to 7 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 1367 Main Street, Brockton. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery Abington, MA.
