Emelda Sophie Slonina of Abington, MA, at the age of 95 passed away on June 22, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Emelda was born in Lawerence, MA on October 1, 1927. She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Josephine Lyko.

Emelda is survived by her children, Judy and her husband Bob Fazio of Hull, MA, Virginia and her husband Bob Williams of Abington, MA, Stephen and his wife Debbie Slonina of Abington, MA, Bruce and his wife Donna Slonina of Abington, MA, and Janet and her husband Christopher Davies of Bridgewater, MA. Baci was survived by her 10 loving grandchildren and was the Great Baci to 11 great grandchildren.

Emelda worked at South Shore Hospital as the Housekeeping supervisor as well as an Administrative Assistant at the Frolio School in Abington. She loved spending time with her family and going on cruises with her family and friends. She was avid crossword puzzle master and loved to crochet, she loved everyone including the family animals.

She will be missed by all and her memories will live on.
