Evelyn Cook Spurr of Abington and Quincy MA and Palm Harbor FL, died December 26, 2017 at Milton Hospital after a short illness. Age 82, loving wife of the late John Spurr and Aldrich Cook; Loving mother of Leanne Cook, Kevin Rowe, Nancy Lavigne, and Leonard Rowe III; Beloved sister of Barbara Farrell and husband Bob, Nancy Sullivan and husband Dennis, Mary Pat Tierney and the late Joe, and the late Kay and Red Flaherty; Beloved grandmother of 4 grandchildren and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn worked as a nurses aid for many years at Tiffany Rest Home and Plymouth County Hospital. She loved to garden and won many awards for making dry flower arrangements. Evelyn enjoyed her daily car rides to the beach.

Arrangements by the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, Abington. A graveside service will be held Saturday April 28 at 11am in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
