Frederick Alan Smith, Originally of Braintree Mass and currently of Abington, passed away, in his home with pets and family, in the early hours of the morning on November 15th. A wake will be held at Quealy and Son funeral home at 116 Adams St, Abington, MA 02351 from 2-6pm on Sunday Nov 18th with a funeral service to start at 11am Monday November 16th in the funeral home. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.

At 64 years of age Frederick "Freddy the Fixer" Smith lived many lives worth of adventures. A large family of youth, an organized chaos of adolescence, early adulthood with the silver tongue of the salesman and business owner, a ranking 25+ year member of a long standing Boston Motorcycle Club, The "Red Emeralds", a 26 year member of the Weymouth-Braintree lodge of The BPO of the Elks, and many many years as a heavy equipment operator for Local 4, a job which he truly loved.

He is survived by his Wife Viparut "Chom" Smith, Children: Derek Field, Fred Smith Jr, Sky Puangsil, Ashley Smith; his Brothers and Sisters Nancy Ruth Kowall, Karen Patricia Reichardt, Irene Rosetta Read, Everett Smith, Ken Smith, and an exceptional number of extended family and close friends.

He was preceeded by his parents Harry and Dot Smith of Braintree, and his brother Harry Spencer Smith Jr.
