Gloria L. Johnson

Gloria L. (Gardner) Johnson, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, following a long illness. She was 88 years old.

Born on January 14, 1938, Gloria was the beloved daughter of the late George Gardner and Rose (Wetterberg) Gardner.

On June 28, 1958, Gloria married the love of her life, Leonard A. Johnson Sr., in Whitman. Together they shared many devoted years of marriage and raised a loving family of seven children.

Gloria worked for many years as a Circuit Tester at Mentor in Hingham before retiring. Throughout her life, she made her home in Hanson, Whitman, Abington, Sebec, Maine, and North Carolina. Above all else, Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and found her greatest joy in the time they spent together.

She is survived by her loving children: Lorinda Mola of Virginia, Diana Ribeiro of North Carolina, Cynthia Landry of Rhode Island, Leonard Johnson Jr. of North Carolina, Daniel Johnson of Taunton, Massachusetts, Robert Johnson of Abington, Massachusetts, and Timothy Johnson of North Carolina. She also leaves numerous cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her beloved husband, Leonard, Gloria was predeceased by her parents, George and Rose Gardner.

A Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington, MA on Friday September 11 from 11 AM to 12 PM Followed by a funeral home service at 12 PM.
