Henry Michael Mackiewicz Jr. of Brockton formerly of Abington, age 59, passed away peacefully January 12 following complications after surgery. Beloved son of the late Sgt. Henry M. Mackiewicz and Martha (Lavoine); Loving brother of Anne Mackiewicz  of Norwood, Susan Mackiewicz of OH, Mary Lewis of Sandwich, and Sara Aiello and husband Peter of Hingham. Also survived by a niece and nephew, and several loving cousins.  Until his mental illness, he was an active academic and sports participant at Abington High School.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday January 18 from 4 to 6:30pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:30pm. Interment will be private. Per family request please no flowers.
