Hugh S. Cox Jr. of Abington, May 13, age 89, Loving husband of M. Drusilla Cox of Abington; Loving father of Richard Cox of NC, William Cox of Whitman, James Cox of TX, and Elizabeth Bevans of Abington; Loving brother of the late Alice Schwertfeger; Also, survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Hugh served in the Philippines during WW II in the Army AirForce. He was the owner of Bemis Drug for 40 years and was a member of the Abington Knight of Columbus, Saint Vincent de Paul, and former Bank Director at Abington Bank. Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Friday May 16 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
