Irene G. (Norkus) Matiyosus of Abington, February 8, age 88, Loving wife of the late John B. Matiyosus; Loving mother of Jane Matiyosus and husband Ronald Bernard of Abington; Survived by sisters-in-law Mary Stecke of Bridgewater and Helen Lappenas of Pembroke, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Also, survived by three additional children, Joan Lewis and husband Robert of Fl., Jean Matiyosus and husband Tom Ruble of Abington, and John B. Matiyosus II. Irene enjoyed dancing, bowling, walking, reading, crossword puzzles, and cards. Irene treasured her time traveling with her late husband to Maine. A grave side service will be held Tuesday February 15 at 2pm in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
