Isabel M. (Viapiano) Cox of Rockland formerly of Quincy, died peacefully at home January 29 surrounded by her loving family, age 76; loving wife of the late John P. Cox Jr.; Beloved mother of John J. Cox of RI, Nancy Mills of Plymouth, and Kevin Cox and wife Kimberly of Plymouth; Loving sister of Patricia Vaillancourt, Anthony Viapiano and wife Kathy and Vincent Viapiano and wife Carol; Devoted grandmother of Christopher and Shawn Cox, Robert and John Mills, and Jeanette Fuller; Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Viapiano; Also, survived by 5 great grandchildren, her beloved friend and companion Richard Giles of Weymouth, many nieces and nephews, and extended family living in Italy. Isabel loved to travel, quilting, crafting, and reading. She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Rockland, Rockland Council on Aging, and Brockton Hospital. The family would like to give a special thank you to South Shore Hospice for there compassionate service. Arrangements by the Quealy & Son Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held today at 9am in St. Bridget Church, Abington. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
