James W. Reidy , 78, entered into eternal rest Nov. 12, 2013. Born in Roxbury, Mr. Reidy resided in South Boston and Quincy, where he raised his family with his late wife Maureen J. Reidy, before retiring in Rockland. Mr. Reidy served as a Sgt. in the Army National Guard during the Korean War and was the past Commander of the John P. McKeon Post, Dorchester. He is survived by his loving children Patricia Allen and husband Gerald of New Britian, CT, Michael Reidy of Quincy, Daniel Reidy and wife Michelle of E. Bridgewater, Maureen Dunham and husband Steven of Plymouth, Christine Cormican and husband Sean of Rockland, and the late James Reidy. Also, survived by 9 beautiful grandchildren, 2 precious great grandchildren, his loving sister Kaye Stone of Sharon, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday Nov., 15 at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant Street, S. Weymouth.  Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation Thursday November 14, at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington from 4 to 8pm.
