Jeannette Picard, of Abington passed away with her loving family by her side on February 16, 2022. She was the loving mother to her two children, Linda Cohan and Ron Picard.  She is also survived by her grandson, Ryan Picard, her brother Robert (Bobby) McNulty and his wife Carol, her son-in-law Tom Cohan, and is pre-deceased by her grandson, Taylor Cohan.

Family was everything to Jeannette.  She loved spending time with them, especially over the holidays, with Thanksgiving being her favorite.

She enjoyed spoiling everyone at Christmas was something no one could convince her to stop doing – it brought her so much pleasure to watch everyone open their gifts Christmas morning.  Jeannette loved to gamble.  She kept the local convenience stores in business with her scratch tickets, saving any and all winnings for her trips to Foxwoods with her brother, Bobby, or her daughter, Linda.

She was very generous, supporting causes such as animal protection, and places like St. Jude because she believed in saving the children.

There will be a visitation on Monday February 28, 2022, from 4:00 -6:00 PM at Quealy Funeral Home in Abington.
